The team of Daniel, James, Lucy, Owen and Emily endured dawn starting times, wet, misty and cold conditions and relentless midgey bites to scale the three highest mountains in the UK in just 28 hours!
Due to the generosity of our clients, fellow professionals, freinds and families, we managed to raise a total of £11,148, that will undoubtedly change young lives. Jane Dyer, Fund Raising Manager at Gloucestershire Young Carers sent us these words which we would like to share:
“On behalf of Gloucestershire Young Carers, and young carers throughout the county, I would just like to say a massive thank you to the team from Ermin Fosse who completed the Three Peaks Challenge and raised this phenomenal sum for our charity. Not only can they be assured that every penny of this will go directly into our charity’s work with young carers, but they should know just what a massive difference that amount of money will make.
We run 18 youth club-style respite groups around the county – each costing around £3,000 each year to run. These allow up to 20 young carers to take a break from their adult-sized responsibilities, share their experiences with other young carers, and access help and advice. We know it makes a huge difference.”
